I got an EVGA Geforce GTX 970 Superclocked for £50 a few weeks ago. barely been touched. the guy upgraded to a 1070. guess he has more money than sense?

Either way, I've had no issues with it whatsoever and took it to LAN. Plays 1440p AAA titles pretty well.

So far probably my 6950X, actually. The MSRP was what, $1,800 when they first released? I got it for $1,350 with a sale going on and discount code. I know they've dropped a lot now, but, that's still a pretty good deal.

Or my TV perhaps, that was only $650 on NewEgg. I forget what the MSRP of that was, but, in 2012 I bought it, and it's a 47" LG smart TV with blutooth and WiFi. 1080p of course. Not a bad deal.

I generally get great deals on Steam games, but that's probably because I outright refuse to buy any game for full price. Yep, I have never bought a Steam game for full price, I always wait for a sale. I'm cheap :P

In recent memory though, probably the EVGA GTX 1050 Ti I put in a build for a family member a few days ago. That thing was discounted to £135 (£5 less than a 1050 Ti's MSRP), and it included a free copy of Redout, a £28 game. So, when you take away the price of Redout, I got a GTX 1050 Ti with an excellent custom cooler and EVGA's legendary customer support for about £107, less than the MSRP of a GTX 1050 :D

(If anyone cares, btw, Redout is an excellent game, I highly recommend it. It's great I got it free but it'd be well worth paying money for IMO)
