Ryzen will PWN any intel CPU

No it won't. compared to the i5's and low end i7's it will, obviously.

xeon is an exception because it's enterprise grade anyways xeons SUCK at gaming so its irrelevant

i5s at 4core4threads are gone forever, there's no return after ryzen launches, also it pwns a high end i7 the 6900K and that is without turbo so thats that i guess lol it will even pwn the 6950x so yeah

you do realize that the 6950x also overclocks right ?

you can say that after the prices are released. I don't care how good it is if it costs more than my entire current computer.

what im saying is that the ryzen didnt have turbo enabled and it still pwned the 6900k, so with turbo enabled and overclocked possibly it will pwn the 6950x imo

AMD showed a demo where they presented a ryzen 8 core at 3.4ghz on all cores against an i7 6900k.

the i7 6900k has a base clock of 3.2ghz , an all core turbo of 3.5ghz  and a max turbo of 3.7 on two threads.

This means that while the Ryzen chip was running at 3.4ghz confirmed , the 6900k could be running anywhere from 3.2ghz to 3.5ghz .

Given amd's previous benchmarks , we can assume that the 6900k must have been running at 3.5ghz on all cores , hence the two chips performing the same. Keep in mind Blender is FPU heavy .

They then showed a handbrake demo , which is very INTEGER heavy. The test results showed the ryzen chip beating the 6900k by about 10% .We know for sure the ryzen chip was running at 3.4ghz , however , the test might have put more strain on the i7 which would have lowered the chip to around it's 3.2ghz base. Which is , guess what , about 5-10% slower than 3.4ghz.

this seems to show zen has an ever so slight advantage in IPC over broadwell , of about 1-2% .

However , the 6950x has about 25% more cores , meaning that NO  , the ryzen chip will NOT beat the 6950x , especially considering any 6950x owner would likely OC their chip

LOLOL 8 Core 16 Thread will beat the 22 core intel CPU!!!

Intel is dogshit!!

2 Core AMD ryzen will beat the 7700K (this is becuase amd has the + next to the Ghz sign, so it goes up to 999Ghz)

Xeons are irrelevant CPUs

say what you want lol i have screenshotted this entire thread and i will laugh at you all when ryzen launches and intel is forced to drop their prices by 50% and enable hyperthreading on i5's and basically dump the i3 lineup

no the i3 would replace the pentium line with that type of pricing as well

i'm not a fanboy, im just happy intel cant get away with robbing people anymore

So am I, but come on, try to remain realistic. AMD would not undercut Intel so much, they need to earn profit as well.
