Asus GTX Titan bios flash.

308626_1454182724

Hello LTT Forums,

I think i will be buying a used GTX Titan for 100 euro with a catch.

The owner was ment to flash bios 80.10.2C.00.02 but he installed 80.10.2C.00.06 and it also a BIOS for a different GPU Vendor. He had to put down the clockspeed for it to work. if i install bios  80.10.3E.00.01 would it work? Thanks in advance.

If you can confirm via a receipt/writing on the card that it's an ACTUAL TiTAN, I would say, go for it!

Why not just flash it back to its default or use a custom bios? It it's listed to be for the card it will work.

The first two bioses that you mentioned are exactly the same with the exception of the Asus branding as opposed to Nvidia Branding

Yes you could  flash the 80.10.3E.00.01  OC bios, though you would want to have a case with fantastic ventilation or water cool the card as it disables GPU Boost and sets the power limit to 300W

Well if it disables gpu boost it's just gonna run at default clock speed. Even 250+ on the clock it's gonna run in the 70's with two cards and poor ventilation.
