That's called a cooling fan.

The heatsinks are already on the ram.

You do not need the cooling fan at all, it is useless unless you are overclocking your ram to try to beat world records.

I mean..... it kinda looks cool but is not really needed.... it also will be annoying if you ever have to reseat ram
