What's the rarest and/or greatest component you own, and could NEVER sell?

I'm not sentimental at all. Stuff is stuff to me once I get bored. I couldn't trade my old motherboard for two 1080's though.

 

It's an Asus P8P67 WS Revolution. In general it's not very rare. Mine is though cause it has the very last revision which added Ivy support on top of Sandy.

 

But that still doesn't make it THAT special.

 

What really did it is that I was able to get decently higher OC's on it with every 1155 CPU I tried than I could on ANY other high end board...even ones that should beat it.

 

Plus look at those heatsinks; you could fly a damn plane into those sexy beasts.

 

Anyways I know I'm not the only one who has a special component in their life.

I'm probably never gonna get rid of my R9 270 because it was the first card I got and was my gateway into proper PC gaming (had a crappy laptop before).  I've already upgraded to a 1070 but my 270 is just sitting there looking pretty on my shelf.

You'd be surprised what I'd pay for a 500mhz Slot 1 Intel Pentium III Coppermine (SL3US) if I could find it.  But they're sufficiently obscure that I've been unable to find one on eBay.

I feel your pain. There are parts I'd pay way higher than usual for if they'd just show up on eBay

Only console I ever got at launch as a kid. Loved the thing till the controller ports died. Loved the next one till the laser died.

The Dreamcast technically wasn't mine, it actually belonged to my late uncle, so it carries even more value.

Which also reminds me of my translucent blue  Gameboy Advance that he also gave me

Nah it's seriously gimped by the power delivery. Polaris on paper should be capable of a good bit more.

 

Also not stating anything as solid facts. When you really add things up, the potential looks to be there though. It's like a Nano that could be a Fury X.
