I am planing to buy a new ssd but cant decide on one Help pls

 

Toshiba OCZ Trion 150480GB 120$

Kingston Digital 480GB SSDNow UV400 115$

Crucial MX300 525GB 120$

MX300. Best controller, highest capacity, and Micron makes their own NAND.

 

Don't get the UV400.

dont go with the kingston ssd. the performance on that is sub par in comparison to the competition. either the ocz or the mx 300 will do just fine.

You can clearly see the MX300 gives you most space for the price given and yes the MX300 is a good SSD has been recommended by many LTT users and even some moderators so go with it.

Somewhat. Things to look for in SSD's are queue scaling, IOPS over time, etc.

I am not 100% sure about the BX series but most Crucial, SanDisk, Samsung, and Intel are the way to go, would not personally recommend any other based on reliability.

well decide what you need, more speed or more space

 

More space if its for archive (but really use an HDD)

but if u access it often, then get More speed (might be expensive)

and i doubt you have THAT much stuff you access very often.

 

and for that price, the common name brands will serve you right.

the crucial is a bit on the slow side from what ive seen in most applications at its price point, but its re-write cycles/lifespan is absolutely bar none. that drive will run a long long long time.
