Thanks bud.

@Cheddle damn it man!!  Looks like I'm going to have to throw the 1080 Tis onto the x99/5960x and pick up a 3rd one now.  xD

By the way, how am I beating you in 4k Optimized?

Thanks man. The memory on this card is awesome. I've got a better core on one of the others, but the memory on that one isn't nearly as good. And 980 TIs really like memory speed :D, core is almost always held back by it.

Only in the world of fairy tales do you get both on one card.  xD

With a 3-way 980 Ti SLI, you'd probably have a lot of fun with one of these.

Mine doesn't have the cost bit. That's pretty neat. I might need to buy one, haha.

I could care less about the cost calculation, but that model was the only one with a remote display.  I would have went with the cheaper one, but I didn't want to run the power cable from my PSU to my desktop just to have it displayed on my desk.  Especially the power cable for an EVGA 1600w T2.  It's as thick as a garden hose.  Wait... what?  xD

You mean 1.01 FPS more. Ha!

You're probably pulling enough power from the wall to cool a NYC apartment for the entire summer. :)

Nice work man.

Nice work man.

It was only pulling like 1200W, lol.

Tried everything for that last 1.01 FPS, but alas would need water to do it.

Where are the 4k and 8k optimized results?  Those are the ones that are really going to pull some watts from the wall.  xD

borrowed a GPU off a mate. my PSU was cutting out with a 120% TDP so we had to run 110% - wall meter was reading 1480w at peak during the tests on my 1500w enermax psu

yep! WC cards under 40c and the air cooled cards under 70c

giant Arlec 1,400CFM floor fan pointing at the PC helping to stop the PSU from exploding.

I had to use a spare 19inch 1440x900 monitor as my Gsync 4k was causing framelimiting issues lol. it was preety hilarious watching 4 1080ti's run benches on a 900p screen

Why didn't you just temporarily install a second PSU for this event?

my friend actually had limited time - I had a 650w sitting on the floor next to my PC and all :-(

having four 1080ti's in there was more than enough of a good time :-)

imagine a dimly lit room with nothing in it except a desk, a PC and two sweaty, foaming at the mouth geeks, and you will have pretty much imagined what went down...
