Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

you need to oc the mem! you will get a big increase

When benching with an +200MHz on the memory i saw minimal difference, and after playing 3 hours of JC3 i had a crash with the memory overclock so i just completely removed it. WIll try once more again today tho.

@Jumper Try'ed with +300MHz on memory and still got 158.9. Maybe might have to give the cpu a bit more juice?

that is strange. cpu frequency helps with maxwell cards

After doing some overclocking and tinkering i have beaten my old score.

You should be able to get first place easily if you get that CPU clock up.

try that as well as the extra mem clock then. :)

Does overclocking memory on AMD cards net much? I'm afraid to because I don't have any heat sinks on my r9 290.

Of course, in any graphically intensive game / benchmark, it should give gains in FPS.

Dw about it not having heatsinks, memory chips barely put out a lot of heat, I assume your fans probably blow a bit of fresh air on to them, so it should be perfectly fine.

No samsung is better than hynix, but samsung vram only comes on a few models of 980 TI.

Your core is pretty decent, avg is closer to ~1450-1475, 1510 is above avg IMO.

Is my card happy? (It won't want to go above 150+ on MSI Afterburner.. did a 50 minutes stability test on this, no crash with 150)

Temps go up to 72C, not 63C.

Damn. I think i lost the silicon lottery then. 1950 MHz is the absolute max with +87 mV that is stable. ASIC is 67%

And that 1510 MHz is only valley benchmark stable. 1490 is gaming stable

Are you still using the air cooler? Try putting a fan on the back of the card etc to keep your vram running cooler.

no srsly can anyone tell me if my OC is good? cuz it just crashed Arkham Knight / CS GO after 30 minutes gameplay or so, didn't count., but it doesn't crash on Valley .. tuned it down to 130MHz+ , seems to give me the same score as 150, at 4065 Score on Valley.

If your OC is crashing when playing games then no your OC isn't any good for gaming, benching? Yeah sure but not for real world use.

That CPU bottleneck hurts, but damn that's a nice chip you've got. Definitely capable of taking fastest 970 with a better CPU. Guessing you're running that under water?
