old z77 mobo poor ram and only i5 so not bad i think attachicon.gifgood.png

the z77 and i5 bit are totally irrelevant and not an excuse, as long as one core is running as fast as possible then it will get a a good score. a pentium G3258@5GHzWatermelons will be better than a 4790k@4.8ghz in this benchmark

Rig Specs:

AMD Threadripper 5990WX@4.8Ghz

Asus Zenith III Extreme

Asrock OC Formula 7970XTX Quadfire

i5 3570k

you can edit the post if you score a higher score you know. if you want to put all of them, at least put them in a spoiler in the same post, otherwise my notifications box gets very full!

i will update late on today.

to overclock your cpu you need to set the cpu voltage to something sensible like 1.3v and then increase the multiplier x1 at a ime with a 30min stress test between each x1. if your cpu goes over 80c then you should lower the speed and the volatge, if your temps are still under 80c but you pc fails the stress test or blue screens, then you will need to add more voltage. go up 0.025v at a time. prime 95 or aida 64 are good programs to use. once you have reach a speed and temperature you are happy with and it can pass 30 mins of stress test, then you can do the stress test for 4-12 hours to make sure it fully stable.

CPU; i5-3570k @4.5GHz
GPU ; Gigabyte windforce GTX 780 3xOC rev.2 (stock bios, air)
Average FPS; 76.6
Score; 3204
Setting; Extreme HD

Afterburner showed the highest boost clock as 1215, GPUZ says 1121.

1793 x 4 = 7172  almost 7.2ghz on mem

Its reaching its limit on stock cooler and bios now. +5MHz on core clock or mem crashes it straight away.

Just look at the spreadsheet.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. The True Path of the Feathered One. ~ Dimboble-dubabob III
