Need a 144hz monitor, Which one?

Aytex

So its either the ASUS MG248Q or the Acer XF240H, Or the VG248QE

The only panel i've used is the VG248QE so if anyone has had experience with any of the other ones, let me know :)

Anything under or around $250 exactly would be great and with the smallest bezels

my best advise would be to go into a frys/microcenter and look at them in person.

I don't want to drive 2 hours...

closest electronic retailer is a best buy and they don't have any of those in stock

from looking at the specs i would say take the MG248Q, though from what i see it is more for the FPS games,

Super Narrow Bezel Design : Yes

the VG248QE is also a great monitor to be competing with it consumes less power

They are both for fps games... I'm pretty sure the mg248q is just a newer model of the vg248qe but the mg has freesync

Avoid the Asus one like the plague, I bought a higher-spec one than that and it had a bunch of dead pixels and after 5 months Asus still won't let me return it. It's just sitting in my garage out of action. Never buying an Asus product again.
