I bought AVG Ultimate for 24 usd, I don't use AVG Toolbar or AVG TuneUp at all, those are "an absolute no no" but they antivirus itself it's very good, uses few system resources and offers good protection and it's simple to use.
On Topic: I'm using Windows 10 and it's very responsive, better than Win7, uses the same resources as Win7, Slowdowns may happen if you don't have video graphic card drivers installed and I mean the producers drivers not what the operating system installs, or if your computer is downloading/installing updates for itself or if the antivirus downloads/installs updates.

Awesome to know their paid product is actually decent - now I can stop telling customers they made a bad decision based on old info. Thanks!

On the topic of slowdowns due to updates, this is definitely an issue if one has a 5400rpm laptop drive in their machine. Definitely worth upgrading to an SSD in that case.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | REDACTED - 50GB US + CAN Data for $34/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

I totally agree and I must say that a SSD with at least 120GB and with one partition per drive, it's a very high increase to your overall performance, especially under Windows OS, for a good price of about 46 - 50 USD and it's a higher increase than choosing Win10 over Win7.
