It's only a very slight upgrade. I wouldn't say it's worth it.

Also, the R9 280 does support 3 monitors, one of the monitors (or more) need to be connected via Displayport though.

I currently have a GTX 780 in my gaming PC and i'm thinking of upgrading my hardware! Is the RX 480 is a good upgrade? I currently have 3 monitors will it support it? My last AMD card (r9 280) couldn't support it so I got my 780!

Its not really an upgrade at all.

That website is only saying 28% due to the TFlops of the card whih doesn't equal performance.

Really a rx 480 is about 9-10 better yhen a 780.

Yes , it would be a pretty significant upgrade . The 480 is slightly faster than the gtx 970 , which is in turn faster than the 780ti and significantly faster than the 780

You would only see big improvements going to a 1070/1080, anything less really isn't worth the money to upgrade to.

It's an upgrade, but one or more of your monitors will need to use DisplayPort.

Don't confuse the 780 with the 780Ti people.

RX 480 is a decent upgrade and yes it supports 3 Displays no problem.
