lg g3 to s7 edge good idea ?

Hello I have a lg g3 d852 (canada model) and I want to change for a s7 edge for 644$ CAD (Koodo). 

 

It's a good idea ?

 

I want to change for the camera because the s7 edge have a so good camera !!!!!!  (I have tested)

If you care about speed, get the oneplus 3. it's camera is very comparable with the s7 edge, and it's worlds faster. but in general, yes, it would be a great upgrade.

2 extra gigs of RAM on todays applications makes virtually no difference. The features, display and cam of the S7/Edge make it a far superior phone in every way except price

Bruh, that's not all the oneplus 3 has going for it. near-stock android is WAY faster than any skin (other than maybe HTC)

honestly, an LGG2 on stock android would probably outperform an LGG3 or even LGG4 on LG's skin

Having owned and used both a 6P and an S7 Edge, I can say that the difference is not significant. Although the 6P does have the admittedly weaker SD 810, it isn't much faster than the S7.

I switched from an LG G4 to a Galaxy S6, so similar situation to you. I was forced to but if you have the choice and it's a significant amount of money, I wouldn't bother tbh. The phones have very similar specs even though they are 2 years apart from each other and honestly unless you're doing a lot of very intensive stuff, you wouldn't notice the difference in the real world. Imo the G3/G4 is much more usable due to the shape.

Firstly your situation is not the same, your situation is comparing two phones from the same generation! Whereas the OPs options are two generations apart between the LG G3 and the S7 Edge, thats a large difference. 

If you can afford it, go for it. I'm also currently using an LG G3 and although i'm happy with it if I could afford an upgrade I would.

How is it not similar? G3 is virtually the same as G4, S6 virtually the same as S7. Anyway all four phones are bad lol.
