Gigabyte 1060 3GB vs MSi 470 4GB

After seeing benchmarks the 1060 almost always comes out on top and at 1080p rthe 3GB hasnt limited it. Not even at 1440p. My budget is 330 plus tax. which should I get?

I'd recommend going for the 6GB version instead if you can squeeze it in there.

oh yes, the GTX1060 is limited by it's 3GB of VRAM; but the  RX470 is too weak

$80 is a lot more. And the 470 is equivalent to the 380x from last gen so shouldnt it be pretty good for 1080p?

People say the 3GB 1060 is pointless, but in all reality, unless you're trying to max out games you really shouldn't, either card will be fine.

 I think Im going to get the rx 480 4GB. I know that it beats the 3GB 1060 for around the same price and the performance of the 480 has gone up significantly since release. All the benchmarks I found were old. Thanks though
