Depends on the game. If it's CPU dependant, then no, it won't. If it's GPU dependant, then yes, it will.

Umm yes you want a GTX 1070 or above, but if you are unable to afford that one then get the 1060 or 480 and buy a better card later!

these are a mix of answers but I will say this. with modern hardware its diifficult to bottleneck unless using extremes of hardware

That's actually not a bad combo. Remember that it's basically an i7-4790/GTX 970 combination so it's not like it's unbalanced.

the 1060 is like a GTX 980...with 6gb of VRAM and a few extra features...it's a lot better than the 970.

EDIT: oh i see what you mean, CPU is a bit faster and GPU is a bit faster but overall it's a similar combo in terms of performance difference...sorry

the cpu is not just for gaming so there is never a reason to ask if your gpu bottlenecks your cpu. the better question is if you need the i7 6700.
