Google now, now Google. What next? Google 2.0...

 

I wonder if time passes, they'll just rename it again or recognize it by an acronym... Hmm, I just don't know....

I'm going to put a link to my PC specs which actually aren't my PC specs and I cry myself to sleep everyday so I can have these PC specs but I can't afford these PC specs so PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs.

Title and first post has a bit of misinformation. The Verge is speculating on why the removal of Now occurred and no where does it say its official. 

 

In my opinion, Android police has a better article on this where they (also) speculate on why the removal of Now is occurring which is Google making a transition to Google Assistant. This makes more sense than what's stated in the original post and by proxy the Verge.

Personally, I think this will make things less confusing. Google Now is already so heavily integrated, and hooks into other Google services that the line between the two is very blurry.

I've signed up for the Google Hero Program, though I'm slightly worried that the Google Hero Program will hurt the Googlers too much, and cause a rift in Google.
