Where is that option I havnt taken the time to poke around yet.

you right click the taskbar and it's in one of the options. (Can't tell you exactly since I'm on a Win7 PC at school right now) It's right next to the option to use a background on the start menu

I did the upgrade last night. It took 6 hours to download and then 45 mins of it doing set-up. You want to re install your video drivers?

oh god, update to Windows 8.1 for free? Is that their subtle way of telling us that they will be charging for updates in the coming future? Oh man pirate websites are going to have a field day when that comes around

Well being a part of cyber patriots at my school(Government funded contest to teach kids about cyber defense), I get all Microsoft operating systems for free, so I've had 8.1 for a week or so now.

I know nvidia has 8.1 updated drives and even had a specific 8.1 beta driver for a while so I would upgrade if therer is one. Truthfully its probabky best to upgrade all the druvers that have one updated for 8.1.

Since Win95 and Win98 I have been skipping a Windows OS generation and its worked (well apart from that Windows Millennium debacle but who knows wtf that was about) like a treat for me. so yea, I'll be waiting for SP1 of Win9, oh yea and that is another one, since Win XP it seems you need to wait for the 1st service pack to have an actual working OS

It took until sp2 for xp though sp1 did make it usable if you had a good desktop
