New PC for parents

Hello,

So recently my Parents are looking for new PC. They dont play games or do some crazy video stuff and bugdet is low so i think of smth like this

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/KpsRKZ

where there is little space to add something like video card but very low end ones (like 750 ti or 650 ti both good for their needs )

Tell me if something would be better and would reduce the bugdet, except storage because my father tends to do some pictures there and there :D.

Okay I am from Poland btw and we mostly use our currency and mostly buy that kind of stuff from three shops:

Komputronik.pl

morele.net

x-kom.pl or maybe com

if you ofc need to check prices and stuff but i warm you the language will be mostly regional :)

oh and prebuilds can be included to 2000 of our currency price, ofc with future proofing (so no seals on case) and i telling this because it would be easier to purchase pre builds for my parents becasue of system of installment :P

Thx for any kind of feedback.

CPU i5 6600k 4,4Ghz , COOLER Dark Rock 3 from BQ, RAM 16 GB of ddr 4 2800MHz from corsair,

 PSU EVGA 750 W GOLD G2, MOBO Msi z170A Gaming M3, CASE NZXT H440 Black/Blue,

GPU Geforce GTX 980 Gigabyte G1 Gaming,

STORAGE 1 SSD Samsung 850 Evo 250 GB and 1 HDD 500GB WD, Windows 8.1.

I would go with a basic Core i3 or Pentium so you don't have to buy an extra graphics card... Or, if you're an AMD fanboy, go for their APUs, they're quite nice :D

Here's one version which both squeezes in an SSD and uses an i3-6100

We're all weird. Just in our own, unique way.

If this PC is for your parents and they don't do anything graphic intensive... Then don't purchase a GPU, just get like the i3-6100.

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Don't buy a 6350 and a dedicated graphics card, it's cheaper and just as functional (for your needs) to buy a core i3. Also, get them an ssd.

+1 to this with a 1TB HDD too since you said they need storage.

I edit my posts a lot.

If you're going for an SSD for PARENTS, why get a high end gaming grade one? They probably won't notice anything, ever, if you get a cheaper SSD imo.

there's no such thing as a "gaming grade" ssd, games really don't benefit from having one or not in most cases. A faster ssd directly impacts everyday performance.

we do not have avecxitr memory here so nope xD but thx for info about i3 but it seems they found some pre build with i5 without onboard graphic and with 128 giga SSD

We're talking perhaps a 2-3 seconds longer boot here, and that's the only difference parents will notice, ever. Most likely they will watch netflix and use chrome and won't notice a faster SSD in any way imaginable.

As above but yea SSD for parents build is way overkill unless you want to build it by yourself and make a gift to them but it seems that will not be a case here

All thx for builds it was kinda in hurry matter but well they found what they need  or atleast i hope so. And i am not AMD fanboy but AMD is the best for bugdet in most cases atleast ;p.

It's a 20$ saving at best, and it does make a difference, albeit not huge.

Not so much anymore. The Skylake series took the price to performance throne away from the FX-series. Not sure about the A-series tho. They seem to perform pretty similar graphically, but the A8 is cheaper, but the i3 is faster as a CPU.

Capture.png

Not sure what benchmark that is, but amd apus have better graphics,

http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-HD-530-Desktop-Skylake-vs-AMD-Radeon-R7-Graphics/m33102vsm8791

and the pentiums have 510 graphics.

http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-HD-510-Desktop-Skylake-vs-AMD-Radeon-R7-Graphics/m38088vsm8791

If this is just to do basic computer tasks on an amd apu is a lot cheaper, and will still last as long as an intel system, an i3 is a little bit overkill as most of the performance may not even be used.

depends on where you leave in our case it would be savings of 200 or more of our currency which is big deal sometimes ;p. And forcing SSD just for quicker boot is not something you should do :P (well i got SSD just for swag and to have a little bit more stable system if something happens :P) .

There's more to it than fast boot, the whole experience is smoother. Programs launch faster, save faster, it makes the whole computer feel faster. I really wouldn't skimp on the ssd.
