Posted September 14, 2016 I had literally no idea where to put this thread. So, this is after playing DiRT Rally at 2560x1080 on with everything maxed and no AA for roughly an hour. All measurements in celcius with Afterburner. GPU: 1342MHz core, 8000MHz memory, hit a high of 77 degrees with it mostly sitting around 73-74 degrees. Sapphire RX 480 NITRO+ OC 8GB with the fans at around 60% speed. CPU: 3.9GHz, hit a high of 61 degrees with it mostly sitting around 54-55 degrees. i5-4690K with a CRYORIG H5 Ultimate on the standard fan curve. I know that these temps are very safe, but my question is: are they good? They're not too high for a game like DiRT Rally? Posted September 14, 2016 thats pretty good, especially CPU, mine goes to like 80C but im also running 4.5GHz and a beQuiet Shadow Rock 2 and no sidepanel, GPU is also at good temps I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays... nothing, it just sits there collecting dust... Posted September 14, 2016 Looks like gpu is getting close to throttle range, but that's not abnormal as the new gpus are supposed to overclock themselves to the limit usually. Cpu temp seems fine, could be better, but it's not bad by any means.
