its been known for some years that both the apple store and good play store are not full proof and apps do slip by. Especially new attacks.

As he said, Android wins in customization ability. However, I'd still give iOS a slight nudge in just over-all OS quality. As much as I like my S7 if installing iOS on it was an option I'd do it. I prefer the look and feel of iOS over any version of Android.

And, thanks to OTA updates, the Nexus family will get the patch to fix this.... oh wait, some aren't getting updates.

 

I'd say I'm surprised at any of this, but sadly, I'm not. It's the same thing that's happened for the past 6 years, and will be here in another 16. I've come to expect that my phone is vulnerable the moment I open the box it comes in and put in my SIM.

 

 

 

 

Feels like newly installed Windows connecting online for the first time. :( I actually don't get any updates for quite a long time now. The phone brands are also responsible for delaying updates. :(
