I got asked to review stuff on Amazon, scam or not ?

I recently bought some lights for my motorcycle on Amazon.ca and one of the vendor I bought these from just e-mailed me. I'll share it with you guys and you can give my your inputs on this :

I was skeptical (and still am) about this but replied anyway asking what products they need reviews on, this is the response I got :

 

"Some lights,please send you business email,in an attached picture,thank you."
 

I know, I know, it looks like the mother of all scam but the e-mail was sent via the Amazon marketplace by this address  <cgg3wrg4pbg7dcv@marketplace.amazon.ca> .

 

So for my future knowledge, is asking for video reviews a thing on Amazon ? I mean, free stuff  Yes, no ?

99% likely a scam.

I would be almost certain it's a scam. Between the broken English, the email address and gut instinct, I'd think it's a scam.

Lots of companies ask for reviews on amazon

 

heck look at cheap products, half the reviews are like "this product was given to me for review"

I have done some myself too, though I already have an existing channel, they send you the product and you do a review

The problem is some companies demand a positive review, which is complete bullshit
