I hear that ther is lots of crash with the drive for rx 480 which drive do I download for the carde for most reliable

The latest AMD driver for the RX480 is stable. There were crashes with previous drivers but those issues have been fixed.

I saw "

Pros: great performance for the money if u get a good one.

Cons: loud, hot, and bsod.

Other Thoughts: do not buy a card with the reference cooler. I was one of the unlucky ones who got a bad one. I seem to be having the same problems as the other negative reviewers. after playing for about an hour my computer would crash or I would get extremely low frame dips making the game unplayable. when it worked it worked well. this card is superior to a 970 but beware of power color I guess. only bought this one because it was the only 480 available at the time."

If you get a GPU driver crash you'll get a notification saying so. If its the game, an error message will come up saying whats gone wrong

First, see for yourself if the driver is actually faulty or not. No point in being hesitant.

It's a hit and miss. For every one person who has driver issues with their cards, there's bound to be others who have no issues at all.

 

Remember, customer reviews are more representative of the minority of people who had faulty cards and who actually had the incentive to post their anger/disappointment about said product.

I wouldn't know since I don't have one. I'd imagine it to be louder than aftermarket solutions though since it is a blower cooler.

Download the driver from  AMD's website, once it's installed you can find the overclocking sliders in the control center.

 

Check the right side of the website: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

it is in the AMD Radeon Settings under Gaming> Global settings> then Wattman or Global overdrive depending on how they labeled it for the 480

I have it install can not find the control central where to look

Right click anywhere on an empty space on your desktop and first option should be AMD Radeon Settings, which opens up that application.

Reboot your pc if it's not there or you didn't do it already after installing the driver.

 

If you still don't see it, click start and type AMD in the search box and a link to AMD Radeon Settings should show up.
