Thumbs up/Agree/Funny/Informative for status updates

This would be very nice to have.  Sometimes I don't have anything to say aside from wanting to acknowledge in some way that I saw someone's post/response.

 

What would also be useful would be the ability for me to choose more than one option.  Like being able to agree with a post and note it as funny.

you can edit status, i made a post about it and he said he mentioned it to them, but for now the only way to do it is to add  &do=editstatus to the end of the URL for the status update

It's essentially hidden(how many people here actually knew about it?), which is not a realistic way of using it, and therefore I will not accept it.

Having to edit the URL to edit a status update is not a proper way of doing it, and I would like to have a proper link to do it, so that people other than the couple who read that post can find it. It is something that I passed onto the devs at the time, but they appear to have silently closed it, so I will re-submit it and hopefully be a bit more successful.

I don't know where you've heard anything like that, but I can assure you that no staff on this site would ever ban someone, or even warn someone, for disagreeing with them. If you want to continue this discussion, take it to a PM - the Community Standards explicitly prohibit the discussion of moderation in public.
