Will a 6600K bottleneck an R9 390?

can someoen plz tell me if a 6600k will bottle neck a r9 380 i wanted a 1060 but out of stock every where so i will settel if it wont cause i have enough for r9 380

I don't whether it will or not at 1080p and 144Hz, but I really doubt it. You definitely won't bottleneck in 1440p.

380 or 390? And no you will be fine with both, I advice you to aim for R9 390 or RX 480!

A 6600K will not bottleneck an R9 380. 

If you're patient, I'm sure there will be more 1060s available soon. I would advise waiting.

ok thanks i hate that its my first time building stuff just keeps popping out then you learn about something else  only problem is the gpu cause i know what ill use for everything else just the darn gpu soon as i found one everywhere is sold out and if not sold out  they raised the price

Depends on the game/application. But I do believe the 6600k is better than the 390 in terms of ratio.

Sapphire makes very good cards, as does MSI. I'd stay away from Asus AMD cards, as they run very hot.

ok might do msi then cause i wanna do red seems like alot of red stuff is a little cheaper on new egg and honestly i had no idea new egg had stuff at affordable prices like they but then again ive only been researching for a little over a month usually i just dive into stuff but this timee i didnt and im glad cause id be screwed

thanks and hopefully it will now that i found this community im sure it will i got many things i needded to know clarified so im on the right track at least ive made a million list and im finally at my last one this one actually is gonna make sense

I was planning to go with an RX 480 when I build hopefully later this year, if the 6600K can't run that then I'll be damned.

 

But no, the 390 is just fine with the 6600K.

Well the RX 470 from Asus runs a bit cooler and quieter than the Sapphire 470 but it's quite a bit slower.

I'm talking about Tonga, not polaris, on last gen AMD cards Asus' Strix cooler was absolute shit. Also, the Asus and Sapphire cards are using the same cooler man...
