Proper Cable Management Techniques

Hola y'all,

Below is my attempt at cable management (I gave up halfway and said "screw it"). This was my second attempt on my own rig and I'm equally as bad as when building rigs for friends and family. There are a few cables that are especially hard to hide, and the back is much harder than the front that's for sure.

I'm going to do it again and I'm wondering how to do it right. Also I have 4 HDDs in RAID. If I unplug the SATA cables and replug it, would it screw up my RAID setup and file structures?

zip ties help in the back, or velcro straps. But holy wow overkill on the PSU

I knew someone would ask lol. I built my first system in February and didn't want to get a 900 series GPU so I got a free 570 from someone. It's fine for Age of Empires and games like that. But for games like Witcher 3 and Skyrim, I'd much rather wait for a 10X0 in the Fall and SLI it later down the road.

Why RAID on your desktop machine? It's awesome for a NAS but seems like such a headache for one's gaming system.

I just had 4 500GB HDDs lying around so I threw them all in there. Funnily, 2 of them are 7200RPM and the other 2 are 5200RPM.

Took me half a day to do it again. Front looks a lot nicer, but the back is still very messy. I think it's fine because it doesn't bulge as much in the back as before.
