So i have been buying canned air for a year now and im thinking, why am I buying canned air??

I went to look online for something to blow air with a fine tip, and everything $70 or more.

I find it hard to believe that a device that blows air for computers doesn't exist for cheaper than $70!

Am I crazy, or am I just not looking in the right place?

$100 is just dumb IMO.

Like is there something im missing? Is it dangerous to just blow air into a computer device?? If a hair dryer is $20, why are these devices $100?

I agree, but that's the only thing I can see currently.

Newegg is having a $20 sale on the Hurricane however: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0Y70ER3818

That's your best bet I believe.

a hair dryer, without heat, doesn't blow "hard enough" to unstick all dust, but it should be fine to do light dusting.

just do it OUTSIDE, or else all that dust is going to linger in your house forever, lol.

The hair dryer comment was more of a confused about prices. It just makes 0 sense to me.

The only fucking useful comment in this thread...like fuck...HEY OP, LOOK AT THIS ONE^

Edit: Also since you guys don't seem to get how static electricity works, NO YOU CAN NOT USE A VACUUM UNLESS IT HAS A BLOW FUNCTION LIKE A SHOP VAC. The motor spinning inside creates static electricity and could possibly ruin your components. Also Linus has a great video on this topic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfcYPyxXVCo
