So my 8350 didn't come in a tin, just this crappy cardboard box. Honestly, while it makes zero difference to me in terms of performance, the flood of disappointment that overtook my body when I opened the packaging was unbelievable.

BRING BACK THE TIN!

Might be oem, did it come with the cooler. I think you would have been more disgusted if you got a 9590.

The CPU was boxed with the stock cooler.

Bought my FX8350 not long after its launch, it came in a nice tin.....performance wise, I like the CPU, handles all the games and ripping programs with ease....got it at 4.5ghz though.

It seems like they stopped packaging them in tins a while ago. I've heard lots of people say they now come in cardboard boxes.

The tin is what made me buy it :P i store my tea bags in it xD 

 

with that cart box it gives the feel of intel processors
