i assume to make the GPU be installed like in the video you need to have a PCI riser? if so where did he get this particular one? been looking for a decent one to install my GPU in my chassis the same way

Wonder if Linus gonna place Xbox One in a vertical position on that wall - that could kill it!

 

The Xbox One was made to be placed only in horizontal position. Otherwise... well, let's say that if he's gonna play some disc-based games, he could never play them again...

Comes with the case. You might be able to buy them separately, but you can probably find one that does exactly the same thing without the Lian-Li markup.

 

I have that same cooler in the same case, said to myself that the top fan wasn't going to fit! Love the look of the bare heatsink.

Dennis is tiny,,,, how the hell did he manage to pack on the weight needed to break through dry wall!
As to wood ceilings,,,,,, dont know anything about building codes internationally, but they are wooden here!

Actually at this point we're planning to have the 2nd part (which is the final part) out early next week :)

Only need drywall on ceilings that aren't intended to be load bearing.  There's no reason to have wood where people aren't supposed to step.

PS, the shirts were mentioned but no link to shirts that I could find in the description.  I wouldn't mind getting one of those holy balls shirts sometime.

For people who have attics and crawl spaces without floors you can walk on, people who don't have them and have never had them may not know that you can't walk on anything but the beams. If you don't want holes in your ceiling from people walking in your attic make sure they know that even if you think it's common sense to you doesn't mean it is for everybody.

Linus, I would highly recommend having room cooling if your going to have all your components in there. Add an air-duct or you will regret it!
