Why do you use dual or multiple monitors?

I use my monitors for 100+ Chrome tabs Over multiple chrome's,Games,Email,TweetDeck,FileZilla,Skype,Teamspeak,Steam,NZXT CAM,10+ windows Explorer,Vm Ware,Do i need to go further or can i stop?. And i only have 3 Screens.

Many reasons, when I'm doing homework, it helps to have research/Ebooks open on one screen and my work open on the other.  when I'm just doing daily tasks like browsing the internet I like to have my email or the forums open on the other screen. When I'm playing games, I get to have youtube/twitch/iTunes open on tbe other monitor. When I'm coding or using 3D modeling it helps to have tools or displays on the other monitor, I can go on and on, but the point is that there is always a way to multitask.

Four screens for gaming, veterinary work, studies, gaming, reading, gaming, and finally veterinary work.

 

Also, it looks like "you have too much time on your hands".

Usually I have:
Soundcloud/Google plus/Facebook on the far left monitor

LTT forums/Youtube/Games on the middle one

YouTube/LTT forums on the right one.

Some just want to put their desk to good use.

Being able to watch full screen video while still working on another page without compromising, one great thing is when gaming also when you can monitor your temps and settings.

i have 2x benq 24 144hz and a 42" tv on the wall connected 2 my pc. the center 24 is for gaming only. the 24 next 2 it is for spotifty, youtube, teamspeak and so on and the 42 is for movies and wacom work

Obviously a variety of uses, but what pushed me over the top to do a multi monitor setup in the first place was so I could play a game and watch a show/movie at the same time. One of the most relaxing/enjoyable things for me to do to unwind is play something casual like grinding in an RPG or playing an online shooter while watching a good TV show.
