Hello forum, i am new here and i just bought my first gaming pc and i need a little help to set it up,i have see Linus how to set up a PC, but a lot of steps are a little complicated since i am new to computers, can someone help summarize that video and let me know what should i do from the BIOS to XMP drivers and all sorts of things, I would appreciate it a lot.

Where did you get it from, because likely they would have set the XMP to on if they are a prebuilt PC company. Although, I could be wrong because I never got any prebuilts.

 

So you do have Windows on your PC right?

Actually the pc is yet to come but i want to know everything before it come, and theyre a technology company but i doubt they set the XMP, and i need windows 11 in that pc im using my brothers pc until than.

Okay, so this is what your bios will roughly look like:

You tick the XMP Profiles, and later on you can go to the Advanced menu (F7) and you can tweak fan curves, enable virtualisation, Re-Bar support and etc. Depends on what you use and what you do.

Okay the pc will be used mostly for gaming and working but mostly gaming, THANKS A LOT BRO IT MEANS A LOT i just got one more question, Linus in the video said smth ab installing the drivers which of them should i install and where

That is the good thing about pre built systems, you generally do not have to install drivers (as they would come with them preinstalled) and in the narrow case of them not being installed (your resolution would likely be 800x600 and your games would run bad) you can continue this thread anytime, or contact me on Discord (I believe I have it in my profile) and we can sort it out.
