@Jumper118

would it be allowed to have the 1.7V P3 1GHz listed sperately from my 1.75V P3 1GHz? Because unlike the 2x 1.75V P3 & 1.65V P3 667, it only has 8 caps under it as opposed to 12 (plus has a different colour PCB & is a year older):

Edit:

Also, what would be some good heatspreaders for SDRAM? Because even at stock the sticks I have get a bit toasty, let alone above 150MHz .

no :P loads of 775 chips have the same thing for different stepping

someone who had this 3570k has stuck it back together with superglue :( why would you do that.

Looking forward to seeing it.

I know.  I'm waiting for the new G.Skill TridentZ LED sticks to drop.  I'll grab some 4,266 then.

took my dual channel kit of ram from my z170 system and slapped it in my x99 for some testing... needless to say I have another kit of this ram on the way for testing out quad channel. clocks are my 24/7

my board wont do over 3000mhz. ram is at 3000-12-15-15-28 - I am yet to play with secondary timings but there might be a bit left in the tank

edit: coming from quad 2666-15-17-17-38 i've gained about 30 points

Initial testing of new 7700k, 5.3 CPU, 5.0 Cache, 24/7 windows install, 1.42v bios, I think actual load voltage is 1.424 to 1.408v

First CLU mount was absolute dogtird, this one is seeming slightly better, doesn't seem as good as my 6700k's mount was though but we'll see.

It's cool to see people will still be using Kabylake in 2088 also ;)

Is that the max clock your chip can go? or is it just personal preference? Im actually targeting BWE chip as an upgrade but this score seems a little too low for the price difference.

Oh it's far from maximum imo but my silent loop 280 AIO died 2 month after i bought it so i went back on a NH-D15.

i am more into the low noise thing than the max performance, it's already pretty good for what i am doing..

gaming , streaming , video editing and virtual machines.

I wish i could oc my body, during winter overheating would be great.

Is there an cpu-z type app that does not need admin permissions? I can not use cpu-z on the computers at school.

They would all be at stock because we are locked out of the bios and I doubt they could be overclocked anyway. Expect 2-3 submissions from me tomorrow. ?
