So my 820 is a little voltage monster and bad overclocker so I just left it at stock, still much better than when I punished it ;)

So, a CPU that in theory does not support 400 MHz RAM, when there are 4 memory sticks in use (official support up to 333MHz).
How far can it go in practice ?7jN9vI8.png
Answer : Quite far :)

PS. @Jumper118 :
FX-62 requires AM2/AM2+ socket,

CPU : Core i7 6950X @ 4.26 GHz + Hydronaut + TRVX + 2x Delta 38mm PWM

780i hit the can for good when I tried to overclock the E5300 and E6850 they were not even stable at stock and was getting random errors in windows so I just called it quits on that.

Also I assume that 1.7 was fine but I was saying that most people appear to assume that anything more than 1.3 will kill a skylake chip :P

Both of my nice 775 boards are either dead or almost dead :L See if this brings it back to life but I doubt it.

Mom always told me :
DO NOT overvolt Pentium D 8xx CPU's, without proper cooling on it, and adequate VRM quality on MB.

Here's video of what OC'ed PXE 840 can do... didn't tested it in Cinebench :/
Actual games are more fun :)

The 780i booted with the P4 630, as for the 820 and 945 I plan on pumping 1.4v into those suckers tonight, VRM cooling is good with this board on the test bench as for the CPU it might get just a little toasty ;)  gunner2.gif

Still confuses me how I got a better overclock on the g41 board with the E5300 than I did on the 780i, I hope it was just me being stupid when overclocking it but who knows. Hopefully I can get a decent overclock on the Pentium 4 chips and Pentium D now since they seem to work :)

But, when I stop playing around with FX-60, I can give it a try @ ~2,94GHz :)

you going to cinebench that one as well? i have the FX-55 and the FX-57 but those FX-60 are so expensive and very hard to find now.

Well I did give it a try :)

Can't do Cinebench R15, since it requires SSE3 support (and that means... Athlon64 90nm or newer :().

But before switching to FX-55 I sqeezed some more from FX-60 :)
