Just put the E5300 in, going for the same overclock I had on the G41 board. If that doesn't work then I can come to say it is the board I guess.

Now I am going to get the dual socket 370 super micro board out that I am going to ship to TMC and run some cinebench on that sucker

K I just bought an E5400 for $2 + Free shipping to help me forget about that motherboard.... the G41 board likes the Pentiums and the DDR3 is nice so it will be nice to see how close I can get it to yours @Jumper118 yours looks like a good chip though and you actually having a nice board :P

Not a bad pickup.

I'd look at investing into a half decent P45 if you're looking at getting into overclocking a little more.

And either some fast DDR2 or some PSC DDR3 (maybe elpida hypers) that is good for like 1800 CL6-5-5-18 or similar.

Yea I might pick up an ASUS board or something if I can find a good deal

if it was air or water it would be impressive but that was on dry ice cooler that makes my computer chips colder than decembur

on water that i3 chip topped out around 4.8 on single thread

Here's my 2600k (live and still kick'n).

The highest score is with all programs closed.

The lowest score is with tons of web pages opened and 4 monitoring programs opened.

I did not gain much by closing the programs, but there was a gain nonetheless.

Here it is... a bit lowe than expected, though it might be due to slow RAM

Also... no OC, the mb is decent but the temps... It's the remainings of a stock cooler with zip ties so... the hottest CPU I've ever had, even hotter than northwood, though I'm not surprised, cause you know... Prescott... with HT

Well looks like we both have the same "Pres-hot"

I had the same one as well. Of course I had to see if Intel soldered the IHS on LGA775 Pentium 4. Kinda glad i was wrong and killed it (since I can't kill it by overvolting it to death on my P5Q Deluxe).

Ok so I am snowed in today so you know what that means.... Pentium 4 Overclocking :P I think I will aim for some of the lowest scores on the R15 page seeing getting in the top 10 is a pipe dream
