what i can do is get it to freeze loads and some fairly bad scores. this was my replacement E7400 and its disappointing. its been getting errors very close to the end of runs and the frequency isn't really that high ;(

they are missing half the cache... so the die was pretty rubbish considering the cache is something like 40% of a wolfdale/conroe die

My e8400 was a big disappointment as well.

Highest I hit was 235 but I never saved the score because I thought I could do better needless to say I haven't been able to hit over 225

I'm picking up 3 dual cores today including the e7500

I think my board is severely gimped though I can't seem to push more than 470 FSB and my memory sticks are a complete fail

What board are you using?

Mine's a P5Q "Green" (all software and bios identifies it as a P5Q) and I'm pretty sure it's newer than the Deluxe and Pro versions based on the design.

Do you ever use the VRM watercooling?

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. The True Path of the Feathered One. ~ Dimboble-dubabob III

Back at my desktop PC, obviously not a 24/7 OC, pretty much this is the limit. Sorry for the huge image. How can I put it in a spoiler? edit: Ok it rescales, so no worries. :)

Never

the Gigabyte board has a severe downside the water cooling does not connect to the PLX chip or the chipset. I would have liked to have seen the heat pipe Connect both

They were all pretty fubar'd determined the VRM assemblies were burned on two of the boards the third board would not even power on at all. So I just practiced removing the sockets. I am fairly good at socket removal now but I still need a little bit more practice on cleaning the motherboard pads. on the last board I did I was able to clean all of the pads but may have damaged one very very slightly I still need more practice reflowing the new socket onto the board I am just using my oven to reflow. Still don't feel comfortable enough to do my mPower just yet. Since its still semi working I'm probably just going to kill it if I do it right now. The same guy who sold me the boards is selling me the 3 dual core chips tonight.

The Asus heatsinks are all most compatible but are slightly off.I did rape one of the boards for the VRM and Southbridge heatsink and threw an old Thermalright heatsink I had on the North Bridge I will post pics later.

Soooo,
basically gpu-z and cpu-z say it wrong
Cpu is running at stock speeds of 3,6ghz on all cores, 1.0 volt and is cooled by a small topblowcooler (thermalright axp-200)
Gpu is the Asus Strix running stock cooler on stock voltage (i think 1.19something) and
NOT THE SHOWN SPEED but actually 1535mhz core and 7142mhz at max 55°C at decent ~1200rpm
8gb gskill ripjaws x 2133mhz CL9
