The projector seems perfect for my brother in his small apartment who I'm trying to win one for. Also, considering his bedroom has no windows. Perfect conditions for a projector and the size of room makes this specific projector the "perfectest?"

I think that this is definitely the best projector you will find in its class, price range and one of the best in general projectors.

It has an insanely huge screen, insanely short throw distance and about as bright as you can get with LEDs at this current time.

The fact that linus managed to double the projected (get it? Its a projector joke) screen size to ~200" proves just how amazing this is.

It's life span is jaw dropping with aprox. 10 years to a bulb (8 hours use a day) using LED lights instead of the common metal halide.

The LED lights are a bit of a risk though as they aren't able to put out as many lumens (light) as the more generic metal halide bulbs meaning you will have to have a far darker room than if you had a projector with a more powerful bulb, this can definitely be forgiven though when considering the lifespan of the bulb is so grand.

The LG PF1000U also comes with an array of useful feautures like Bluetooth for audio, great contrast ratio, smart TV (use with LG magic remotes) and wireless connectivity. I do beleive 3D would have been a nice adition for those who want to replace their TV with this or create a home theater and for the pricetag would have been a welcome gift.

All in all its quite a magnificent and great looking projector with many useful features, but of course with a high qaulity peice of tech comes a high price tag (rx480 exempt from this comment xD) with a suggested $1400USD price tag.

It's awesome that its design allows it to require less distance between it and the wall to get larger screen area. This is just the kind of projector I need after about a month of looking around and I finally found one that'll fit nicely in my room's setup.

Sick video Linus. Color grading was on point. Projector is pretty cool. The portability form factor is what really intrigues me. A 200 inch 1080p image?! Sign me up. Thank you for giving back to your fans. Hope I win! Good luck to all of you!

Was actually looking a projects yesterday and this lg projector is by far the best thing I have seen for how big it is all in all it looks great and it would be sick to have one

Love thats its short throw, would allow many cool projects, and allow my backyard movie parties to be so much cooler

Seems pretty crazy. I mean 60" image 4" away from the wall! I would love to share the experience with my friends. Imagine this in my schools Light and Sound club room (we play video games during lunch/spares). And forget about having a measly TV in the basement, just put this projector down.

I think it's a great portable projector. Can be used for all sorts of purposes(gaming,  watching movies, music production) I love it.

Working with Ultra short throws all the time its amazing to see this in such as small form factor with decent res, need one :)
