Ways to make a little money as a beginning programmer?

JonnyBoyThan

I'm 15 and I've been having a lot of fun learning about C++ but was wondering if there was any way I could make some side money through C++/any other languages I learn in the future. Specifically, is there any place I can go to find people who want to hire programmers for a side project of some sorts?

Thanks!

EDIT: This would obviously be in the future as I'm almost positive I haven't even scraped the surface of all that C++ has to offer.

I just went to a nearby Barnes & Noble (Bookstore) and picked up a book about C++. Specifically, I picked up the book C++ without Fear Third Edition by Brian Overland. But there was a huge variety to choose from.

My high school doesn't offer programming or computer science courses sadly. :(

I'm 15, but I don't learn that kind of stuff. I learn more about the hardware and troubleshooting. :D

Good luck, dude! :)

Hope this helps.

I too learned a little bit of programming.

The software I used to use is:  Code:Block.

It is free. Open source (I think?) and it works for OS X as well as windows.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

You can make some side money on Fiverr.com, I used to sell my services there but then other things took priority. :(

Not sure.  I suggest you AT LEAST try to understand the basic,

When it comes to work, sometime we need to adjust ourselves.

We don't wanna be the person that tell your boss : NO I WON"T DO THAT COS I DID NOT LEARN IT AT SCHOOL AND I AM NOT GONNA LEARN IT NOW!

Within 3rd time you are gonna get fired.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

Don't. Qualified programmers do not want to deal with code written by beginners. Sit tight and work on personal projects, then go to school for a CS degree and get an internship. Then you can start making money on your skills.
