The only clue we have as to how it will perform is Nvidia's marketing slides which says that it will perform like a GTX 980. It will probably be slightly lower than that though. If those numbers are correct then it will probably be better than the 970, but not enough to justify buying it (unless you really want some of the new features). Posted July 10, 2016 If the 1060 is faster than the 480, then I would be disappointed in AMD, because they could have done so much more to Match the 1060's performance. There's still that price factor though.
