Should I add a second exhaust fan?

I have a corsair air 240 and currently have 2 front 120mm intakes, a bottom 120mm intake and one 120mm exhaust in the top left. I want to add a 120mm exhaust in the top middleish but I'm wondering like, will that render the front top fan useless as as soon as it goes it, it goes out? Heres is a picture showing what I mean.

 

 

Like from my logic, the air gets in and will get out as soon as it gets in, rendering the top front fan kinda useless because no air goes on any component

Essentially, yes--adding a fan there wouldn't be very helpful.

That might stop some cool air from blowing on to your components. So it could make things worse.

If anything I would leave that alone, unless you want to throw in a 240mm AIO on your CPU, then the intake in front would directly feed the exhaust from the fan there and be helpful.

But, No I wouldn't bother adding a fan there.

What if I add a second intake in the bottom? Can I have to many intakes. That would total 4 intakes and 1 exhaust.

more intakes is good

Yeah more intakes are good. Taking in more cool air is often better than exhausting hot air
