I just don't see Nvidia letting AMD own the enthusiast market that long. You know they already have the 1080ti. Come October if Vega is what they say it is the 1080ti will be right behind it.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Just remember 3 gens were all $500 and that was after the top card was $400. Now everyone seems ok with $700 and up...   vote with your wallets, not your gaming minds.

Ignore Keplar, the 780 Ti was never a thing. This way, your point is valid.

Nah, just kidding, the real world doesn't work that way. Pascal is still cheaper than Keplar's highest end was. Also the GTX 200 series. Also the 8800 GTX...

Damn, NVIDIA had more expensive cards? Nobody thought, huh.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

We don't even have guarantee that AMD will own the enthusiast market

I'd be honestly blown away if Vega can't take out the 1080. I'd have to get sober to make sure it was actually happening.

They have a lot of ground to cover to catch it though, the 980 ti already has a lead on the Fury X,  and the 1080 is a good 20-30% more on top of that.

Not by my research. Reference to reference yes, but who has a reference 980ti? When I compare my benchmarks at top settings with those from reviewers at the max they can get out of a 1080 it's 10% max. 1080 is a great card, but it has marketing on its side at the moment. If Vega pulls AMD out of their enthusiast slump Nvidia will be forced to return fire.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
