Do you want the glossy screen of the Dell or the the matte finish of the Asus. Other than that, price is the only thing. I personally would prefer the Dell monitors, but I'm a sucker for Dell products and trying to get some U2515Hs from them myself

I just built a pretty good new gaming PC and I can't decide on what size or ow many monitors I should get.

Should I get 3x 27 inches or 2x

or should i get 3x 24 inches or 2x

or 2x 27 inches vs 3x 24 inches

I seriously can't decide.

Btw I mostly do gaming and graphic designing stuff, also I multitask a lot.

3x27" monitors requires a lot of desk space.......I have a 21.5" + a 23" and a 19"

really it all comes down to space. 3 monitors is amazing though and once you have it you wont want to go back.

depends on workflow and resolution of said monitors.

Don't be fooled by the bottom line of my sig, that is just for my travels.

So you're telling me that Gaben is no God? Enough of your foolishness.

My hardware you ask? I'm using a Dell Inspiron 3217 Notebook... With an LG 25UM57.

If you want, I found some matte 27 inch monitors from dell (QHD like the others) : https://www.amazon.com/Dell-UltraSharp-27-Inch-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B00P0EQD1Q

Other than that, go with the Asus monitors :)

I'd say three 24" monitors. Personally I find 27" monitors to be a bit too large. Right now I'm using 2 22" (21.5") monitors and I quite enjoy them.

I think most people do what I do when gaming on a multimon setup. Most of us dont have a GPU capable of running 1440p let alone 2 or 3 1080p screens, so most play on a single mon in fullscreen windowed mode and use the other monitors for other things.

Yeah I never game across multiple screens. Personally I use one for the game, one for voice chat of some kind and the last one for a browser

right on. I have a 1080 for my main and a crappy 4:3 something or other as a secondary. I think it would bug me personally if I had a second monitor the same size displaying other info. maybe I simply fear change 0.0
