nvidia gpu cooler on amd card

i got a hd5850 with a broke cooler, im just using a cheapo heatsink and fan for it

 

someones selling a defective inno3d gtx470 hawk card for like 5$

im planning on taking that cooler off and placing it on the 5850 card

are the fan connectors on gpus universal? like cpu fans?

The real problem is the screw holes, etc.

 

All of that has to line up with the old card.

yea, im planning on zip tying the cooler

yeah.. like the STRIX cooler overhanging the Hawaii die and making contact with only 2/3 of the surface

And DC2...the strix cooler may as well been the DC2 cooler for the 290x and just added a little extra fin space and an extra fan :P

oh yeah, about the card, the guy says it displays, but just artifacts abit
