Will msi accept a bent pcie 16x slot for rma reson?

so i recently got the x99s xpower motherboard, and for some reason, the top top slot is connected to the mobo, but the inetrnal pins are bent.

Wil i be able to rma tat?

or will i have to ghetto bend it bank and hope it works?

I'd suggest requesting a return from the distributor first (amazon/newegg etc etc).

 

Part arrived broken is always a valid return/exchange reason.

you should call MSI tech support on the phone directly and ask them...they have very good customer support and they will assist you.

MSI is quite good.

Not as nightmarish as Asus that is for sure.

I had the same issue with a Mini ITX board I got off ebay.   They replaced it with no questions.

So was my situation got it on ebay from an individual..   MSI replaced the board under warranty.
