HP Spectre 13t (2016) is finally here!

GoZone

It seems like more of a fashion statement than something practical. Sounds like HP are becoming like Apple.

I say jiggly-bytes when I see "GB".

It goes down better than you would expect.

What are your thoughts about it?

Eh, the weird hinge design coupled with the horrid copper colour scheme looks pretty terrible to me. To each their own, I guess.

I love the piston hinges. First I've ever seen in a laptop.

Watching Intel have competition is like watching a headless chicken trying to get out of a mine field

Don't know it would be a more spotted and cringing color than Apple's Rose Gold options on the newer products.

It's definitely better than Rose Gold.

(why do they even call it Rose Gold? Stop kidding yourselves Apple, it's pink)

It looks stunning and is very impressive engineering wise, but who is supposed to buy these? People who sit in Starbucks all day? They'll buy a Macbook.

If HP is trying to make a fashion accessory, then they can't put their badge on it.

Copper Gold?

copper mixed with gold is rose gold

Wiki quote

Quote

Rose gold is a gold and copper alloy widely used for specialized jewelry. Rose gold, also known as pink gold and red gold, was popular in Russia at the beginning of the nineteenth century, and was also known as Russian gold although this term is now obsolete. Rose gold jewelry is becoming more popular in the 21st century and is commonly used for wedding rings, bracelets, and other jewelry.

The design is beautiful, the only thing I don't quite like is that the display tends to woble a bit too much for a premium laptop. Anyway, it looks WAY better (and has better specs) than the MacBook, which is quite a looker nonetheless.

But will it open with one hand?

I'd much rather prefer a thicker overall laptop for a nicer bezel.
