So Zalman has a 7990!

brownninja97

So a few days ago I was like Zalman should make a gpu(or just reskin it) and holy mother of h264 encoder they have made one.

As you can see they have put a ton of time into designing it. Im a zalman fan boy so im most likely getting it.

I could replace those stickers with Corsair ones that come with their sp and af fans.

Zalman makes aftermarket GPU coolers, and was super late in releaing this card.... yet they choose not to go ahead and release it with a self-designed aftermarket cooler.

Why waste money on something that very few people would want to buy, I dont think many people would trust zalman.

The card has 3 year warranty and it’s expected to cost the same as other’s HD 7990 — $1000.

Hmm, tough one. Get a 7990 for 700 bucks, or spend 1000 bucks for the 7990 with zalman stickers... Let me think....

That looks like cheap glossy plastic...come on, Zalman. I remember when you guys had that overpriced Fata1ity case/Z-machine that looked really nice and since then, you never released a high end looking part again. Outside of some crazy looking cooling solutions, you guys went coocoo.

Why are people releasing 7990 now even though the next gen gpus are being announced this month?

That's actually reference design unfortunately so you can blame AMD for that. I hope AMD go with an awesome design to rival nVidia's Titan/780/770 for their Hawaii lineup.

Where the heck where they going with this one? A $1000 nanofluid-sticker stock AMD 7990?

I sure hope it's a GHz Edition 7990

Is this sarcasm? NVIDIA doesn't make AMD products. They make their own.
