Apollo 15 Zeiss lens up for Auction

Former NASA astronaut Commander David Scott is selling his 500mm f/8 Zeiss lens. A telephoto lens that he used on the surface of the moon during the Apollo 15 moon mission. Held together much like the internet, with duct tape and velcro after he fell over on the surface, it probably will not fetch anywhere near the same amount as the camera body.

Wonder who would buy it? A deep pocketed collector, or some museum or similar organisation? I'd actually like to try using something like this but I'm guessing it will most likely be kept in a glass case somewhere.

Thought that the Item 6247 - Apollo CM Block II Interior Design Layout Drawings-  was a fairly decent price at an estimate of between $3,000 and $4,000. Something you could put up on a wall and have some intricate detail to view.
