can i run gigabyte radeon HD7870-OC in 2way crossfire with a corsair GS700 powersupply?

ANNIHILATOR284

i already have a gigabyte HD7870-OC and want to get a new one to run in crossfire. my power supply is a corsair GS700 but only has 2x6+2 pcie power cables which are already in use by my graphics card but it also had 6x4 pin molex pins not in use and maybe i can use a twin molex to pcie converter and run two graphics cards out of it.

What processor? if it's anything from Intel, yes you can (80 watts non OC AT MOST, after OC up to 120~~ watts depending how far was the voltage pushed). If it's AMD FX 8xxx overclocked... forget about it, it draws 200w or so :D

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

depends on the other components if you are using İNTEL cpu's than it will be enough if you are using AMD 8XXX than you need a new PSU cuz that will either not be enough or be at the limit which is scary :S

yes you can.with ease. the 7870 uses 115W at peak in gaming . make it ~140 for OC /card. plenty of power left on the psu

enough wattage and amperage easily, but I wouldn't use adapters personally.

Corsair fluffed this PSU up, It should come with 2x 6+2 pin and 2x 6 pin pci-e imo.
