does time Warner have free anti virus software?

usually the included anivirus/malware are garbo. Just stick to the tried and true and youll be fine. Free antivirus are usually better since they dont pull the same scams to get you to resubscribe

Possibly, but it doesn't really matter. All is crap that is included.

Just get tried and true Avast + MBAM, AVG + MBAM or other combo.

It is, mcafee is a piece of crap, does nothing and does constant full speed scans.

Sorry! I just realised I shortened the name!

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

It is a static AV, meaning, it only runs when you tell it to. It's a good idea to have both realtime (AVG, Avast!, etc) and one static (MBAM). Some viruses will target AVG/Avast etc, but then you will have a backup. Not to mention, no single AV is perfect, so, having two (one realtime and one static, not two realtime) is a good idea as well.

Use windows firewall, windows defender and malware bytes anti-malware, all you will ever need, just dont be an idiot and dont click the obviously fake downloads.

I personally use 360 Total Security.

Yes I would. But I also don't particularly care what you use, as long as it's decent.

360 Total Security allows you to use multiple AV engines, including Avira's.

If you want a antivirus that doesn't bother you unless it needs to then bitdefender free is a nice choice.
