CDKeys has Mirror's Edge Catalyst for £29.99 (dunno what that is in $ though). Cheaper than GMG :) Cheers for the headsup though :)

Pre-orders ruin the game industry...however I'm having an internal conflict because I really want to pre-order mirror's edge...I'll probably still buy it anyways if I don't pre-order.

Agreed. I NEVER pre-order, but to be honest, I have faith (no pun intended) in DICE to make it decent. They have been making it for years after all :)
