Which of these SSD's should I get?

i7-6700K
Go to solution Solved by Vezzeract,

If you would like to choose for yourself, narrow the company choices down to...

1. Crucial

2. Sandisk

3. Corsair (maybe)

4. PNY (maybe)

Take the price per gig and the average speed to get the SSD that works for you.

I actually misspoke...

You may want to look into Kingston. All of those companies are reliable and I have used a Corsair, Kingston, Crucial, and Sandisk drive in the past. Only reason I do not have one now is because I have a PCIe 1.2 terabyte drive..... That didn't break my bank. (Sarcastic)

Would replace Corsair with Kingston. Even though the SV300 had a bad reputation I believe it has been fixed, and is now a very solid drive.

blackshades on

I agreed and Corsair versus Kingston... Kingston obviously wins.

He has used a filter which is available in PPT and I am assuming that the Samsung drive is too expensive for certain price.

Only thing is, he's only saving $20 or so instead of getting a better drive. Samsung is killin it right now in the SSD game, Read/Write speeds may look similar, but Samsung's stability and longevity are worth it.

Why not for this situation?  Samsung SSD's are essentially the best you can buy right now.
