Any revisions/advice for my planned build?

Hey all! I've been watching LTT for a few months after I started looking into what it would take to build my own PC and loved it. I knew there was a forums and it floated around in the back of my head for awhile. Months later and I'm here! My only question is if any of you battle-hardened PC building veterans have any recommendations/revisions/problems/ideas/whatever for/with my build. Here's my part list! (Yes I know I need an OS, I have an unused copy of Windows 10 and 8.1 currently)

Will read! About $600 however I can go above or below a bit. I'll be using the system for general use and light gaming.

switched the CPU and mobo because the i3 will outpreformn the FX in most games, but if your doing video editing/rendering/stremaing the FX will be more capable

Also changed the PSU to something with more wattage for future compatibality and upgradeability

Well that is some intense value! I'll look into the card. Do you have any personal experience card or is simply better in terms of raw power?

Simply better. It's 15% better than the GTX 960 depending on the game. Also, it's cheaper than the 960 :P

AND THERE HE GOES AGAIN! suggesting the best build at the price point by far :P but yah dude this is a good thing, go with this

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

It is indeed! Thanks for the recommendation, I would never have found that as I'm simply not acquainted with AMD cards!

@TheRandomness So I did a graph with some pricing and the end cost was 676.63. While I absolutely love it the money isn't great. Any ideas on how to get the price down $50 USD?

I"m sorry if I'm bugging you, I know you probably don't have time for noobs on the forums asking stupid questions :S

Why aren't you using pcpp? Also, why are you only using newegg, Amazon and outletPC? If you use them all, that's what gets the price down.

I like using just a chart because It's easier to visualize. If I were to do it in PC Part picker it would look like this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i3-4150 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor  ($109.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H-A Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($39.99 @ Newegg)

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($49.49 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 380 4GB Double Dissipation Video Card  ($203.98 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($69.99 @ NZXT)
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($53.98 @ Newegg)
Case Fan: NZXT RF-FNV2-120 45.0 CFM 120mm  Fan  ($7.99)
Monitor: Asus VS228H-P 21.5" Monitor  ($109.99 @ Amazon)
Other:
Other: Azio PRISM USB Keyboard with 7 Colorful Backlights (KB507) ($24.95)
Total: $705.34
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-03-19 20:54 EDT-0400

The reason for overriding some of the the items is that A. Sometimes PCPP doesn't factor in Amazon Rebates and B. Prime shipping is better than buying it a couple bucks cheaper then another vendor.

Again thank you so much for all of your help. xD
